CHANGE!
Beloved congregation,
Today, let us delve into the transformative power of our words, guided by the divine presence of our Lord. As we gather here, remember this: the way we speak about ourselves holds immense influence over our lives.
Our words are not mere expressions; they are affirmations of our inner beliefs, and they have the power to shape our destinies. As it is written in Proverbs 18:21, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruits."
When we declare ourselves unworthy, incapable, or defeated, we not only speak negativity into our lives but also hinder the blessings God has in store for us. However, when we choose words that align with His truth—words that affirm our worth, purpose, and potential—we open the door to His abundant grace and blessings.
Dear friends, God has created each of us with a unique purpose, a divine plan that reflects His boundless love and wisdom. In Jeremiah 29:11, He assures us, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope."
To embrace the fullness of His plan, we must first change the way we speak about ourselves. Instead of allowing doubt, fear, or self-criticism to dominate our thoughts and words, let us choose to speak in alignment with God's promises.
Declare your worthiness, for you are fearfully and wonderfully made (Psalm 139:14). Affirm your capabilities, for you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Philippians 4:13). Proclaim victory, for the Lord goes before you and makes a way where there seems to be no way (Isaiah 43:19).
In this transformation of speech and thought, you will discover the life God has prepared for you—a life filled with His blessings, purpose, and grace. The journey begins with a single word—a word spoken in faith and trust in His divine plan.
So, let us go forth from this place, speaking words of life, hope, and love over ourselves and others. As we do, may we bear witness to the miraculous changes that God's truth can bring into our lives.
Amen.
