LETTING GO!
Beloved congregation,
Today, I bring you a message filled with hope and renewal, titled "Letting Go." "Embrace God's new blessings by releasing the past; trust in His plans, letting go of the old to receive what He has in store."
In our spiritual walk, one of the most challenging yet essential steps we must take is the act of letting go. Letting go is not just a physical act; it's a spiritual process. It involves releasing our grip on the past - our mistakes, our regrets, and even our old ways of thinking and being.
God is always doing a new thing in our lives. Isaiah 43:19 says, “See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it?” To perceive and receive this new thing, we must create space in our hearts and lives. This means letting go of what is familiar and comfortable, and stepping out in faith into the unknown.
Letting go requires trust in God's plans. His plans for us are for good and not for disaster, to give us a future and a hope. When we cling to the past, we are essentially saying that we trust more in our old selves than in God’s plan and purpose for our future.
Remember, letting go is not a sign of weakness but of strength. It shows our reliance on God's strength and wisdom. It is an act of faith, believing that what God has in store for us is far greater than anything we leave behind.
Furthermore, letting go allows us to grow and develop. It opens us to new opportunities, new relationships, and new blessings. It enables us to move forward in our spiritual journey, growing closer to God and becoming more like Him.
In conclusion, I urge you to embrace the process of letting go. Release the past and look forward to the new things God is doing in your life. Trust in His plans and timing, and be ready to receive all the blessings He has in store for you.
Amen.
