RISK!
Beloved,
as you stand on the precipice of your dreams, it might appear as though you are about to embark on a journey fraught with tremendous risk. The path to your aspirations may seem shrouded in uncertainty, strewn with challenges that could deter even the most courageous among us.
But I implore you to ponder this: Isn't the most profound risk one can take the possibility of allowing their God-given purpose, their divine destiny, to slip through their fingers unnoticed? What greater peril is there than to live a life devoid of meaning, to neglect the unique calling that the Creator has breathed into your very soul?
Your dreams, those aspirations that stir your heart and fire your spirit, are not arbitrary whims of fate. They are not random desires born of mere fancy. No, they are the handiwork of the Divine Architect, woven into the very fabric of your being with a purpose that transcends human understanding.
In the pursuit of your dreams, it might seem as though you are navigating treacherous waters, scaling imposing mountains, and braving formidable storms. It may feel like an audacious endeavor, a risk-laden adventure into the unknown. Yet, remember that the God who has planted these dreams within you is also the God of unfailing guidance, unwavering support, and boundless love.
His promise is clear: "For I know the plans I have for you, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future" (Jeremiah 29:11, NIV). He has designed your path, and although it may be fraught with challenges, each obstacle is an opportunity for growth, every setback a stepping stone to success.
So, as you embark on this journey to fulfill your God-given dreams, let faith be your compass and courage your traveling companion. Do not be dissuaded by the appearance of risk, for it is in stepping into the unknown that we discover the extraordinary. Your dreams are not a gamble; they are your destiny, and they are worth every effort, every "risk" along the way. Embrace them with unwavering faith, and you will find that the greatest risk of all is not in pursuing your dreams, but in failing to do so.
Amen.
