SHIFT!

SHIFT!

Dear congregation,

Today, I am called to share with you a message of divine perspective and enduring faith, in a sermon titled 'Shift!' This message is built upon a foundational truth: “Don’t focus on the adversity; focus on God. No matter what you go through, stay in faith, be your best each day and trust that God will use it to position you for greatness.”

In our journey of faith, we often encounter adversities that can seem overwhelming. Challenges, both big and small, can easily become the focal point of our lives. However, today, I urge you to shift your focus. Instead of fixating on the obstacles, turn your eyes to God. He is not only the Creator of the universe but also an intimate friend and guide in times of trouble.

This shift in focus is not about ignoring the reality of our problems. It is about changing our perspective on them. When we concentrate on God, we draw upon His strength, wisdom, and peace. We remind ourselves that we serve a God who is bigger than any adversity we might face.

Staying in faith during these times is crucial. Faith is not just believing in God’s existence; it’s trusting in His sovereignty and goodness, regardless of our circumstances. It’s about holding onto the belief that God is working in and through every situation for our ultimate good.

Being your best each day is a testament to this faith. It’s about living each day with purpose, integrity, and excellence, as a reflection of God’s character. It's about doing all things as unto the Lord, knowing that our daily efforts are never in vain when they are offered up to Him.

Remember, God has a way of using our trials to position us for greatness. He uses them to shape us, to build our character, to deepen our faith, and to prepare us for the plans He has for us.

In conclusion, let us embrace this shift in focus. Let adversity not be the center of our attention, but rather, let God occupy that place. Trust in Him, stay steadfast in faith, be diligent in your endeavors, and watch as He positions you for greatness, in ways you never imagined.

Amen.
