SPEAK TRUTH!
Beloved congregation,
I bring to you today a message that is as powerful as creation itself, one that I have titled "Speak Truth." "Speak life in God's vision for you, not your present state—proclaim who you aim to become in His grace and purpose."
Our words have the power to shape our reality, for the Lord spoke and the world came into being. We, made in His image, have been granted this same ability to declare life over our circumstances. Proverbs 18:21 tells us, "Death and life are in the power of the tongue." Thus, I urge you to speak not of the trials you face today, but of the triumphs that God has in store for you.
Your current condition is not your final station. God has inscribed a glorious future for you, one that you must step into with the words of your mouth. When you talk about your struggles, you give them power over your life. But when you talk about the way you want to be, the way God sees you—strong, victorious, and prosperous—you align yourself with His will and His Word.
The Lord doesn't see you for who you were yesterday; He sees you for who you can be tomorrow. Jeremiah 29:11 affirms, "For I know the plans I have for you, declares the LORD, plans for welfare and not for evil, to give you a future and a hope." It is, therefore, our duty to echo this divine sentiment in our speech, to speak truth to the potential within us that is waiting to be ignited by faith.
Today, let your words be a reflection of God's truth. Speak of your future with confidence, knowing that what God has promised, He is also faithful to perform. As we journey through this life, let us remember that our dialogue should be a dialogue of destiny, one that speaks truth into the greatness God has planned for us.
Amen.
