TRUE SUCCESS!
Dear Beloved congregation,
Today, I am blessed to share with you a message that lies at the heart of our faith – a sermon themed 'True Success.' In this world of fleeting triumphs and shifting standards, we must ask ourselves, what does it truly mean to be successful? "True success is when you reach back and bring somebody along with you to God."
Success, as defined by our Creator, is not measured in wealth, accolades, or earthly achievements. It is measured in the lives we touch, the souls we inspire, and the hearts we guide towards God's eternal love. True success is found in the selfless act of extending our hand to lift others, guiding them on their journey to spiritual fulfillment and divine connection.
In the scriptures, Jesus exemplifies this by constantly reaching out to those in need, sharing His message of hope and salvation. He taught us that our greatest accomplishment is not what we accumulate for ourselves but what we contribute to the spiritual growth of others.
Think of the profound impact we can make when we invest in people, when we take the time to mentor, to encourage, and to guide others towards God’s light. Each soul we help, each life we influence, is a testament to God's work through us.
True success is about legacy – a legacy of faith, hope, and love. It's about leaving a trail of spiritual markers that guide others to the truth and love of God. It's about being a living example of God's grace, demonstrating His love through our actions and words.
As followers of Christ, we are called to be beacons of light in a world that often walks in darkness. We are called to be instruments of God’s love, reaching back to bring others along on this glorious journey towards salvation and eternal life.
In conclusion, let us reframe our understanding of success. Let us strive to be successful in God’s eyes – by being a bridge for others to cross over into a life of faith. Let us commit to the true success of bringing souls to God, one heart, one life, one journey at a time.
Amen.
