WITHIN YOU!

WITHIN YOU!

Dear congregation,

I stand before you today with a message that speaks to the core of our divine journey, a sermon entitled "Within You." "Rise above mediocrity, aiming for God's excellence. Never accept 'good enough' when you're called to embody the greatness God has instilled within you."

In the scripture, we find a compelling directive in Colossians 3:23-24, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men, knowing that from the Lord you will receive the inheritance as your reward. You are serving the Lord Christ." This passage isn't merely advice; it's a divine command to pursue excellence in all we do, recognizing that our ultimate accountability is not to man, but to God Himself.

Mediocrity is a condition that can subtly take root in our lives if we're not vigilant. It represents a state of complacency, where 'good enough' becomes the standard, and the pursuit of excellence is abandoned. However, as children of the Most High, we are called to a higher standard—a standard that reflects the very nature of God's perfection and His unparalleled greatness.

The greatness within you is a gift from God, a treasure that He has placed inside each of us, awaiting our discovery and expression. It's a potential that far exceeds the ordinary, designed to elevate us beyond the mundane and into the extraordinary realms of God's purpose for our lives.

Embracing this call to excellence means rejecting complacency and continuously striving to improve, not for the accolades of man, but for the glory of God. It's about living a life that is worthy of the calling we have received, a life that magnifies God's greatness through our actions, words, and deeds.

Let this message inspire you to look within and recognize the incredible potential that God has placed inside you. Let it be a catalyst that propels you to rise above mediocrity, to aim for and achieve God's standard of excellence. Remember, you are not destined for mediocrity; you are destined for greatness. It's within you—now is the time to unleash it for the world to see and for God's glory to be revealed.

Amen.
