GOD'S PROMISE!

GOD’S PROMISE!

Beloved congregation,

I stand before you today, filled with a message of hope and divine assurance, a sermon I have entitled "God's Promise." "Assured by God's promise, I believe my future holds greater blessings than my past, compelling me to press forward with faith and hope."

In our journey of faith, we often look back at the past – at our struggles, our failures, and our disappointments. While it's important to learn from our past, God doesn't want us to dwell there. Isaiah 43:18-19 says, "Forget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!" This is a clarion call from the Lord to look forward, to anticipate the greater things He has in store for us.

The future God has planned for us is filled with hope, with promises of greater blessings. It's a future that exceeds our past experiences, our current understanding, and even our wildest dreams. But to step into this bright future, we must be willing to press forward, leaving behind the comfort and familiarity of what has been.

Pressing forward in life requires faith – faith that believes God’s promises are true, faith that trusts in His timing, and faith that knows that He works all things together for our good. It also requires hope – a confident expectation that what God has in store for us is greater than anything we've left behind.

As we press forward, let us do so with our eyes fixed on Jesus, the author and perfecter of our faith. Let us hold onto the promise that He who began a good work in us will carry it on to completion. We are not just moving away from our past; we are moving towards a God-ordained destiny.

In conclusion, embrace God's promise for your future. Let go of the past, cling to faith, abound in hope, and march forward. Your future, under God’s sovereign plan, is replete with blessings, opportunities, and victories. Step into it with the assurance that the best is yet to come.

Amen.
